Putin Signs Decree to Establish the Russian Federation Maritime Council.

On August 13, news from Moscow stated that Russian President Putin signed a presidential decree on the same day, approving the establishment of the Russian Federation Maritime Council.

It is learned that Russian Presidential Aide Patrushev has been appointed as the head of this council. This council will consist of 52 people. Its main responsibilities include being responsible for the strategic development of the Russian Navy, protecting Russia's national interests in the Arctic, and promoting and supporting Russia's maritime activities.

As early as a meeting on July 29, Patrushev once disclosed that in order to strengthen the coordination of the implementation of the national maritime policy, Putin had made a decision to establish a maritime council. Relevant regulations will be drafted by the relevant departments and submitted to the president for approval after completion. Now, Putin has officially signed the presidential decree, enabling the establishment of the Russian Federation Maritime Council.
