On August 21 local time, Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health reported that a car in Beit Lif in southern Lebanon was attacked by an Israeli drone on the same day, resulting in one death. The deceased is Lebanese. On the same day, the Israeli army also attacked the southern Lebanese village of Wazzani, resulting in one death. The deceased is Syrian. The Israeli army has not responded to this for the time being.

Since the outbreak of the new round of the Palestine-Israel conflict on October 7 last year, Hezbollah in Lebanon has occasionally launched attacks on northern Israel. The Israeli army has retaliated by conducting air strikes and shelling targets in southern Lebanon. The conflict between the two sides on the Lebanon-Israel border has continued to this day. A large number of residents in southern Lebanon and the border area in northern Israel have been evacuated.
