The US military is deploying troops in the Middle East to assist in defending Israel, but it might itself become the target of attacks.

According to a report on August 7th, a US official said that more than a dozen F/A-18 fighter jets and one E-2D "Hawkeye" reconnaissance aircraft from the US "Theodore Roosevelt" aircraft carrier have flown to a military base in the Middle East. It was reported that the official said that the F/A-18 fighter jets and one E-2D "Hawkeye" reconnaissance aircraft took off from the aircraft carrier located in the Gulf of Oman and arrived at a base in the Middle East on August 5th.

As important leaders of Hezbollah and Hamas were successively assassinated, the tension in the Middle East has escalated again. Iran has already said that "Israel will once again taste (Iran's) punishment for this". In order to deal with the possible military conflict, the US military has adjusted its military deployment in the Middle East and is prepared to assist in defending Israel.
