Heavy rains in multiple places in Mauritania have triggered floods, resulting in at least four deaths

On August 24 local time, the emergency management department of the Mauritanian government issued a statement saying that places such as Assaba, Guidimaka, and Hodh Ech Chargui have been severely affected.
