Recently, Thailand has been hit by heavy rainfall, leading to serious disasters such as sudden floods and landslides in many places. On August 26 local time, the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department of Thailand's Ministry of Interior issued a statement saying that this flood has caused 22 deaths and 19 injuries. At the same time, more than 30,000 households in 13 provinces have been affected.

Starting from August 16, the floods brought by heavy rainfall have affected many provinces in Thailand from north to south. As of the morning of the 26th, there are still 737 villages in five northern provinces of Thailand in flood. Facing the severe situation, the local government has taken active actions and is intensifying emergency drainage in relevant areas and making every effort to rescue the affected people.

However, the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department also warned that more sudden floods may occur across Thailand this week. For this reason, the department has issued warnings for 31 provinces in northern, northeastern, central and southern Thailand, reminding people to be on guard against floods and strong winds from August 26 to 29.

This sudden flood has had a huge impact on the lives of people in many places in Thailand, and both lives and property have suffered serious losses. The Thai government said it will continue to pay attention to the development of the disaster situation and further take effective measures to increase rescue and disaster prevention efforts to help the affected people resume normal life as soon as possible and reduce the adverse effects of floods. The international community is also paying attention to the flood situation in Thailand and hopes that Thailand can successfully overcome this difficulty.
