Chemical leak incident occurs at a swimming pool in London, UK. Eleven people are sent to the hospital

On the afternoon of August 29, 2024, a chemical leak incident occurred at a swimming pool in western London.

The London Ambulance Service said that a total of 11 people, including 9 children, were sent to the hospital due to this incident. According to reports, the conditions of most of the people sent to the hospital are not serious, but 3 children may need further examination.

The London Fire Brigade said that the chemical substance leaked from the swimming pool is chlorine. After the incident, the London Fire Department dispatched two fire trucks and dozens of firefighters to the scene.
