Israeli Army's Bombing of Two Schools in Gaza City Kills At Least 15 People

The command centers were located in the compounds of two schools, and armed personnel planned and carried out attacks against Israel from there. The military wings of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) said they fired anti-tank rockets and mortar shells at the Israeli army operating in the Gaza Strip, causing casualties on the other side.

Senior official of the civil defense department in the Gaza Strip, Mohammed al-Moghayer, accused the Israeli army's air raid of "clearly targeting schools and safe civilian facilities in the Gaza Strip". The attack on the two schools left more than 18 people dead, another 60 injured and more than 40 missing.

According to data released earlier on the 8th by the health department in the Gaza Strip of Palestine, in the past 24 hours, the Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip have killed 22 people and injured 77. Since the outbreak of the new round of the Palestine-Israel conflict on October 7 last year, the Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip have killed more than 39,000 Palestinians and injured over 91,000.
