Recently, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, has emphasized on multiple occasions that no nuclear facility should be a target of attack in armed conflicts.

On September 6, the president of Russia's Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev, and Grossi met in Kaliningrad and focused on discussing the safety issues of the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Grossi pointed out that the situation at these two nuclear power plants is still extremely serious. The International Atomic Energy Agency will continue to pay attention and conduct dialogues with relevant parties to ensure nuclear safety.
