At around 8:14 in the morning of the same day, a magnitude 2.6 earthquake occurred again in the mountainous area in southern Miyazaki Prefecture. The focal depth was "extremely shallow". A tremor with an intensity of 1 was also observed in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture.
