On August 25 local time, a car in Khiam town in southern Lebanon was attacked by an Israeli drone, resulting in one death.

It is reported that the deceased is a member of the Lebanese political party "Amal Movement". This political party is a Lebanese Shia political party and has close relations with Hezbollah. On the same day, Israel launched more than 40 attacks on southern Lebanon. At least six villages and towns in southern Lebanon were attacked, and houses, farmland and infrastructure were severely damaged.

Previously, Hezbollah in Lebanon announced a large-scale attack on Israel on the 25th to retaliate for Israel's previous airstrike on Lebanon and the killing of its senior military commander Shukur. Subsequently, the Israeli army issued a statement saying that it had detected in advance that Hezbollah would launch a large-scale attack on Israel and had carried out a preemptive strike on targets in Lebanon.

This incident has attracted widespread attention from the international community, and the regional situation has become increasingly tense. At present, the Israeli side has not made further responses to this attack. Relevant investigations and subsequent reactions from all parties are still ongoing. The international community calls on both sides to exercise restraint and resolve disputes through peaceful negotiations to avoid further escalation of the conflict and ensure regional peace and stability.
