The Russian army dropped a three-ton bomb on Ukraine for the first time

According to a report on the website of the Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda on June 20, the Russian powerful department released news that the Russian army used the FAB-3000 high-explosive aviation bomb in the special military operation zone in Ukraine for the first time. The high-explosive aviation bomb weighs more than 3 tons and is equipped with a universal gliding and correction module. The Russian side said that the target of this strike was the temporary deployment point of Ukrainian armed forces in the Liptsy settlement in Kharkiv Oblast.

The report said that in March this year, Russia began mass production of the FAB-3000 high-explosive aviation bomb. The aviation bomb is more than 3 meters long, and the explosive accounts for nearly half of the weight (1,200 kilograms). After the explosion, it will form a crater with a diameter of more than 30 meters and a depth of 15 meters on the muddy ground.

The FAB-3000 bomb is equipped with military islands and gliding components and can be dropped tens of kilometers away from the target. Within a 230-meter radius of its landing, all life will be reduced to ashes, and its flames have fatal lethality within a range of 1.2 kilometers. This indicates that the FAB-3000 bomb can be safely dropped outside the combat radius of the NATO air defense system deployed by the air force, which can not only ensure that Russian fighter jets are not threatened by anti-aircraft missiles but also have huge lethality, and its destructive coverage reaches 230 meters.
