At 12:28 on September 11 local time, a 5.7-magnitude earthquake occurred in Pakistan. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the epicenter depth is 35 kilometers. The epicenter is located at 31.3312 degrees north latitude and 70.6259 degrees east longitude.

After this earthquake, people in many places in Pakistan felt obvious tremors. People in areas including the capital Islamabad, Punjab Province, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province all felt strong vibrations. However, as of now, there are no reports of casualties or major property losses. Relevant departments quickly activated the emergency response mechanism after the earthquake to monitor and assess the situation in the earthquake-stricken area to ensure the safety of people's lives.

Pakistan is located in an earthquake-prone area with relatively active plate movements. In history, the country has experienced many strong earthquakes, causing serious casualties and property losses, such as the 7.6-magnitude earthquake in 2005. The occurrence of this 5.7-magnitude earthquake once again reminds people to strengthen earthquake prevention and response and continuously improve earthquake resistance capabilities and emergency rescue levels. Subsequently, relevant departments will continue to pay attention to the situation in the earthquake-stricken area and provide necessary help and support to the affected people.
