Two shooting incidents occurred in western Sydney, Australia in one night, resulting in one death

On the evening of August 20, 2024, two shooting incidents occurred in western Sydney, Australia. Subsequently, a man was found dead. According to Australian media "9 News", local police received a report and rushed to Antwerp Street in Auburn, Sydney at nearly 10 o'clock. The report stated that during a family dispute, someone fired shots at a residence. It is reported that a man known to the residents tried to break in and fired a shot. The gunman fled the scene before the police arrived.

At around 10:10 that night, the police received another report and went to Monash Street in Auburn, Sydney to deal with another shooting incident. A 55-year-old man was attacked by an unidentified man in a car and was shot in the neck. He was then taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition. The police said that these two shooting incidents may be related.

While searching the area, at around 2 am on the 21st, the police found a man's body in Duck Creek in Auburn, Sydney. A gun was also found at the scene. At present, these two shooting incidents are still under investigation.
